1. ANYONE can post: City Point residents--homeowners and renters, non-City Point residents, former City Point residents: anyone interested in the City Point neighborhood. Posts may be anonymous. [However, you do need to fill in the space for "Name", which may be "anonymous" if you prefer.]
2. Posts must be related in some way to the City Point neighborhood (or this website). For the sake of consistency, this website follows the New Haven Preservation Trust's 1982 definition of City Point: Greenwich Ave., Hallock Ave., First through Sixth Sts., Sea St., S. Water St. [See this website's first page "City Point: Neighborhood Map & Brief History" to be sure that your posting follows this rule.] To post memories, info. etc. about Kimberly Ave., Plymouth St. Grant St., Cassius St., Lamberton "south of the tracks" go to the "Kimberly Ave. & Kimberly Sq. area" page.
3. Postings must not include "inappropriate language" [i.e. "swear words", "vulgar slang", "four-letter-words"]. Also Forbidden: verbal attacks on individuals or groups, racial or ethnic slurs, or any comments intended to be hurful, offensive, wrathful or cause embarrassment. [You ARE permitted to insult or criticize the editor, but only on the "Contact the editor" page.]

When the "Leave a Comment" screen pops up, fill in the "name" space. If you prefer, you may write "anonymous", but DON'T leave it blank.
Then fill in your email address. This will NOT be revealed, but protects this website against spam.
Skip the "Website URL" space.
In the white screen next to "comment:" type in City Point-related news, stories, memories, announcements, ideas, suggestions, etc.
If you'd like to receive automatic email notification of new comments, leave the check mark in the "Subscribe to comments?" box.
In the space to the right of the "Security code" numbers, type in those same numbers. [This also helps protect against spam.]
Then click "Add comment" button below screen.
